SCOPE OF SERVICES
The services of B·U·S include not only the usual forms of technical assistance in urban development and housing provision, but extend to cover the conceptual development of these operations.
B·U·S offers four kinds of service:

For projects without permanent staff, we provide backstopping in conceptual development and project management.

We do not see the education and training of counterpart personnel as an isolated task or exclusively 'on-the-job' training. Our aim is to develop truly sustainable training concepts, based on high-quality, practical training materials and courses, as an integral part of project work.

Wherever possible, local know-how is applied to the execution of project components. Local employees and consultants are thus not regarded merely as labour or subcontractors, but as partners whose capabilities we help to improve through long-term cooperation.

Through our numerous contacts with German and British institutions and experts in the field of municipal development, we are helping to develop an international network for north-south and south-south exchange of knowledge and experience.
