Revision and finalisation of the urban development policy paper of the German Ministry of Economic Cooperation. Originally drafted in 1989, the new version was refocused to take account of growing concern for urban environmental problems and the recommendations of the 'Earth Summit' at Rio de Janeiro in 1992, including 'Agenda 21'.


Policy paper 'Housing'. 1996
Revision of the policy paper of the German Ministry of Economic Cooperation on housing issues. The new version was prepared to be presented by the German delegation at the Habitat II meeting in Istanbul in 1996.

Improved Sustainability through Participative Approaches to Urban Development in Selected Asian Cities. 1997 - 1998
Research project of the German Ministry of Economic Cooperation to identify strategic issues for German development cooperation in the urban sector in Asia. The research includes country studies in Thailand, Indonesia and the Philippines.
