B·U·S is a consulting firm active in the fields of urban development, urban management and environmental planning, predominantly in developing countries. B·U·S works both under contract to international and bilateral organisations and directly for institutions in the developing world.

The company puts together interdisciplinary teams according to requirements in order to ensure an integrated output. Particular emphasis is laid on in-depth discussions and close cooperation with international agencies, local institutions and target groups, such as non-government and community organisations, in order to strengthen the capability of local institutions and to secure the sustainability of project outputs.
